It's a Hard-Knock Life For Us...

There's so much pressure in being a teenager. A 15 year old should not have the amount of anxiety I feel at the slightest things. It's sad that I had to fake illness today just to leave school early.
The pressure exceeds the wanting to do well and prosper in the future. I truly believe the material we learn is not sufficient to life lessons, nor supplying a means to an end.
We don't learn how to balance a checkbook, we learn to balance an equation.
We don't learn about world affairs, we learn about the teacher's affairs.
We don't learn about how to choose a college, we learn about preparing for college.
Tell me, how will this help me at all in my life?
Geometry, Chemistry, ancient civilizations, will not help me land my first job.
Drama, sports, and extra curriculars will.  They build your social development, street smartness, common sense. They give you more logic than any geometry proof could.
I'm just tired of learning things so hard and pointless.

Yes-Man.

For anyone out there going through a tough time:
Yes, it sucks.
Yes, it will suck for a while.
Yes, you will feel alone at one or many points.
Yes, you will think of things, dark things, scary things, things that crowd your mind at the worst moments.
Yes, you will cry yourself to sleep many a-nights.
Yes, temptation will burden your shoulders.

YES, someone is there for you.
YES, you must strain to see the light.
YES, it will get better.
YES, you will be happy again.

I promise.
